Do You Remember Danny Gokey?
Does the name Danny Gokey seem familiar to you? If you are, or were, a viewer of the annual singing talent show, American Idol, the name will probably spark a flashback.
Gokey was the contestant that many thought would end up in the Final in 2009. However, as things turned out, he was eliminated just before this, landing in third place.
So, what's he been doing since the attention of the Idol stage has faded. He recorded an album (see below), released a few singles and has been seen on stage here and there to promote these.
Surprisingly from his Idol appearances, Gokey went the route of the country singer, even though the evidence of his voice and his preferred material on the show seemed to dictate other avenues.
